Sunshine Lovers

Over the years, we have grown red Canna Lilies.
Last year my daughter shared her yellow variety with us, bringing a spot of sunshine and color.
Their tall majestic foliage and colorful blooms add interest to the garden, demanding their own space and attention.
A deer fence had to be erected, since they seem to love them, just as much as we do *sigh*.

What ever would we do without fencing! The Canna lilies are beautiful! It was not meant for me to grow them. I've tried yellow ones from Mama's yard years ago. Then a neighbor gave me some red ones. They don't like me! Seeing yours makes me want to try again. Your yard is so pretty!

You inspired me to buy three cannas a few days ago after seeing your blog. I haven't planted any for years. It rained a lot to day so they will be happy. Your yellows are really strong and striking in appearance.
